BMI Alumni Executive Club Membership and Event Participation Terms

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

These Terms regulate the conditions of membership, event ticket purchases, participation in events, and the services provided by BMI Alumni Club.

BMI Alumni Executive Club (BMI Alumni Club), legal entity code 126056217, address Konstitucijos pr. 18B, LT-09308 Vilnius, Lithuania, email info@bmialumni.com, is a professional association uniting management professionals and supporting their professional growth by organizing mentoring programs, conferences, networking events, and other activities.

By becoming a BMI Alumni Club member or purchasing event tickets, you confirm that you have read and agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Membership Description and Fees

2.1. BMI Alumni Club membership provides access to the following benefits:

  • Participation in member-exclusive events and networking meetings;

  • Access to professional development and career advancement programs;

  • Updates on the latest management trends and practices;

  • The opportunity to contribute ideas, participate in association initiatives, and use the BMI Alumni Club network.

2.2. The annual membership fee is EUR 150. The fee may be paid to the BMI Alumni Club bank account or through the official BMI Alumni Club website. Membership becomes valid from the date of payment and remains active for 12 months.

2.3. Membership is individual and applies only to the person who purchased it.

2.4. The membership fee is non-refundable, even if the membership is terminated before the end of the period

3. Events and Participation Terms

3.1. BMI Alumni Club organizes a variety of events, including:

  • In-person (on-site) events;

  • Online (virtual) events;

  • Other professional meetings or training sessions.

3.2. Each event description specifies the date, topic, location, price, and other relevant details. BMI Alumni Club reserves the right to change the event date, time, content, location, or speakers without prior notice if necessary due to organizational reasons or force majeure circumstances.

3.3. Event ticket purchases

  • Tickets or registration confirmations are issued only after full payment.

  • All ticket sales are final – tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3.4. BMI Alumni Club is not liable for:

  • Technical difficulties in attending online events caused by participant’s equipment or internet issues;

  • Travel, accommodation, or other personal losses incurred due to failure to attend an in-person event;

  • Service interruptions caused by third-party platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).

3.5. If BMI Alumni Club fully cancels an event and does not offer an alternative, the participant will be refunded the amount paid for that specific event.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. All content of events, programs, presentations, and learning materials is the property of BMI Alumni Club or the respective authors.

4.2. Without prior written consent from BMI Alumni Club, it is prohibited to copy, distribute, record, or otherwise use event materials for commercial or non-personal learning purposes.

5. Data Protection and Privacy

5.1. BMI Alumni Club processes the personal data of its members and event participants in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania, and the BMI Alumni Club Privacy Policy.

5.2. By becoming a member or registering for an event, you confirm that you have read and agree to the processing of your personal data as set out in the BMI Alumni Club Privacy Policy.

5.3. All BMI Alumni Club members automatically receive a newsletter containing updates on BMI Alumni Club activities, events, and community news. You may unsubscribe at any time by sending an email to info@bmialumni.com or by using the unsubscribe link included in each newsletter.

5.4. Non-members may also subscribe to the newsletter by providing their email address via the subscription form and confirming that they have read the BMI Alumni Club Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. BMI Alumni Club is not liable for any losses or expenses incurred due to:

  • The participant’s inability to access or use event services;

  • Event cancellations or rescheduling due to circumstances beyond BMI Alumni Club’s control (force majeure);

  • Actions or omissions of third parties.

6.2. If liability is applicable, BMI Alumni Club’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the respective event or membership.

7. Force Majeure

BMI Alumni Club shall not be held responsible for failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations if caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: acts of war, natural disasters, fire, epidemics, government actions, or electricity/internet outages.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

8.1. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
8.2. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be resolved through negotiations. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be settled by the courts of the Republic of Lithuania based on BMI Alumni Club’s registered office location.
