BMI Alumni Gala & Awards 2026: Recognising Leaders Who Give Back

The BMI Executive Institute alumni community, now more than 1,000 leaders and business owners strong, has announced the winners of the BMI Alumni Awards 2026.
This year marked a first: together with DELFI readers, the BMI community selected leaders whose achievements over the past year extended beyond professional success to create meaningful impact on business, society and the country.
"We are seeing a growing culture of giving back in Lithuania. BMI alumni actively share knowledge, contribute to important initiatives and help create positive change in society. These awards recognize leaders whose impact extends beyond their organizations," says Mantas Marčiulaitis, Chairman of the BMI Alumni Executive Club Council.
Winners of BMI Alumni Awards 2026
Impact Award (Public Vote)
Dr. Agnė Diana Liubertaitė-Amšiejė – recognized for her contribution to modernizing Lithuania’s education system, strengthening parental education and promoting emotional resilience in society. More than 8,000 DELFI readers participated in the vote, with nearly 3,000 selecting Dr. Liubertaitė-Amšiejė.
Impact Award (BMI Community Vote)
Vytautas Šilinskas – recognized for strengthening Lithuania’s investment environment and contributing to a more effective and modern public sector.
Best Public Speaker
Milda Mitkutė – Vinted co-founder, entrepreneur and advocate for education, recognized for her contribution to public discourse on entrepreneurship, innovation and responsible growth.
Dedication to Country
Vaida Markevičienė – Deputy Governor of the Bank of Lithuania, recognized for her contribution to strengthening Lithuania’s position as a leading fintech and financial innovation hub.
Best Entrepreneur
Paulius Aleksejevas – President and CEO of GEALAN Window Systems Inc. (US), recognized for leading the company’s successful expansion into North America.
Career Progression
Simonas Lisauskas – recognized for his progression from Commercial Sales Director to CEO and Chairman of the Board at Lietuvos draudimas.
The winners were announced during the BMI Alumni Gala, the largest annual gathering of the BMI alumni community.
