What Took You So Long? BMI Alumni Executive Club at EBIT 2026

"What took you so long?"
That was probably our favourite piece of feedback during EBIT 2026. Not because anyone was complaining. Quite the opposite.
The surprise that BMI Alumni Executive Club had its own space at EBIT lasted only a few seconds. It was quickly replaced by a different reaction: "Actually, this makes perfect sense."
And perhaps it does. BMI Alumni Executive Club belongs wherever leaders gather. Wherever important ideas are discussed. Wherever decisions are made, businesses are built, organisations are transformed, and new partnerships begin. This year, that place was EBIT.
Over two days, the BMI Alumni Lounge became a meeting point for familiar faces, unexpected reunions, new introductions and conversations.
We also had the privilege of hosting a private discussion with Jesper Brodin, former CEO of Ingka Group (IKEA), exclusively for our community, moderated by Mantas Marčiulaitis.
What made this experience especially meaningful is that it was created not only for the community, but also by the community.
A sincere thank you to our fellow BMI alumni who helped bring it to life:
Volfas Engelman – for creating the special BMI Alumni Blueberry Ale experience.
AB Kauno Baldai – for helping transform the lounge into a welcoming space for conversations.
HRX LIETUVA – for ensuring smooth logistics and support throughout the event.
These companies were not sponsors standing on the sidelines. They were community members contributing their time, ideas and resources to create something valuable for fellow alumni.
That, perhaps, is what BMI Alumni Executive Club is ultimately about: leaders investing in other leaders. And if the most common reaction was "What took you so long?" – then we can probably agree on one thing: We'll be back.
